On the Brown Thomas website, nc20 is the lightest shade so if anyone knows if they do lighter shades in store can you let me know as I bought the bottle I’m currently using from the MAC counter in Liverpool. It definitely holds up on the skin and I found that the oils don’t come through at all so it definitely stays matte all day long. That way I’d be able to see how well it lasts after being on my skin for about 15-16 hours! I got this in the shade nc20 this time and it matches my skin when I have a little bit of tan on. I decided the best way to test this out after buying it was to wear it to college, on one of the days I’m up at 6am. This is by far my favourite foundation of the two. This retails at MAC counters in Ireland for €36.50. It contains SPF 15 which is always an added bonus. The foundation does have a really good coverage and looks beautiful on the skin but by the end of the day, if you have oily skin you will notice it looking very shiny. I decided to do more research and found that the foundation contained oil which is why it practically slid off my face by the end of the day. Applies, builds and blends easily and evenly while controlling.

We put MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 to the ultimate test of seeing how long it wears and, not surprisingly, the formula lasts for a full 24 hours This modern foundation combines a matte finish and medium-to-full buildable coverage with broad spectrum SPF 15 protection. I wasn’t surprised that I was the lightest shade they had which was nc15. I told the girl working at the counter that I wanted a foundation with good coverage and one that was suitable for oily skin.
